Faith of the Flawed • What is Faith? • David Baxley

All across scripture, we can see inspirational heroes of the faith. Hebrews 11:1 tells us that “Faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen. For by this our ancestors were approved.” It’s easy to look at these faithful “ancestors” as superheroes, but the reality is, they were all broken and flawed human beings. Just like all of us. Why is their faith recorded for us as an example, even if they were so flawed? How did God work through their brokenness? What even is “faith”?

Pastor David Baxley begins our summer sermon series looking at Hebrews 11 by helping us better define what faith is.
