Discuss the different events coming up. The Young Adults Retreat, The No Regrets Men’s Conference, and the Women’s Retreat. God often uses special events like these to help us grow together as we live devoted to Him in our Christian life.

Sermon & Scripture Discussion – Please Read Acts 6:1-7
- Pastor Steve gave us this Definition of Spiritual Gifts:
“Special abilities that are empowered by the Holy Spirit so the ministry of the church can be accomplished”
- What about this definition stands out to you, might be new to you or is challenging to you?
- In Acts 6:3 one of the qualifications to serve was being “full of the Holy Spirit”: How does The Spirit’s guidance affect how we serve and do ministry in the church?

- After taking the test, are you aware of what your spiritual gifts may be? If so, what are they? What’s your reaction to your gifts that showed up?
- Pastor Steve said: Serving in the church with our gifts is not optional. What is your reaction to that statement?… If you aren’t serving, someone is neglecting their primary gift to cover for you.
- What is your reaction to this statement?
- How are you using your gifting to serve our Body at Bethany? If not, what is keeping you from doing that?
Prayer Time: (Focused Prayer time as a group!)
Spend time in prayer as a group praying for each for the Holy Spirit to show us our true spiritual gifts and how to use our spiritual gifts in the body of Christ.
