Icebreaker:

What television/movie couple comes to mind as an example of a marriage to emulate or to disregard? Explain.

Sermon Discussion - Read Ephesians 6:22-33

How do you react to the statement that the primary goal of marriage is holiness? Is this a new concept for you to embrace?
- How does the idea of husbands being instructed to love their wives as Christ loved the Church challenge traditional notions of male leadership and roles within a marriage?
- In your opinion, how can the principles outlined in Ephesians 5 be applied in a modern context where equality, mutual respect, and individual agency are highly valued?

In 1 Cor. 7:25-38, Paul gives interesting advice to those who are considering marriage. Summarize Paul’s advice to single people. What is your response to it?
