When you hear the phrase, spiritual warfare, what comes to mind?

Read Ephesians 6:10; Galatians 2:20; 1 Co 11:1; John 17:18; James 4:7 (Remember the Illustration: Jesus in driver seat v. you). Why is it important to die to self so that you may put on Christ or have Christ work through you? Why should that decision come first?

- What areas do you need to work on in order to be true to who people think you are?

Read Romans 6:12-14. Regarding the breastplate of righteousness, is there an area(s) of your life that you have given ground either to Satan or self? What do you think you need to do to take that ground back and how can we help?
Digging Deeper (20-25 minutes)
Read Ephesians 6:16 (Remember the Illustration: Roman Phalanx). Christians should stand with the shield of faith together.

- Has there been a time when someone really stood by you and lifted you up with their faith?
Read Ephesians 6:17-18. Pastor Thad, in the Podcast, said that his more charismatic brethren have an attribute that he desires to employ more in his life: a burden to pray more and over much. What are your thoughts on this statement and how does praying the Word of God work into this discussion?
Challenge and Prayer (10-15 minutes)
Lets each share an area of spiritual warfare we would like prayer for (Sin battle, God to move, God to speak etc) and have each person pray for someone as you close in prayer.
