Living Free

Hope and Healing in a World of Isolation

Every day, people in our community are gripped by life-controlling problems like anxiety, addictions, anger, depression, care-giving responsibilities, compulsive sex or living with a loved-one’s problems. Living Free is a Christ-centered ministry, made up of confidential small groups, aimed at bringing community and resources for all of us to find wholeness in Christ.

Current Living Free Groups

Everyone Can Live Free

We have many kinds of Living Free groups that we have offered at Bethany depending on what people need. The groups listed are not necessarily meeting currently, but let us know if you are interested in what they offer.

Insight

This group enhances our understanding of ourselves and others and presents character qualities within the Scriptures as a path to Christian character. Participants learn how to identify, deal with, and prevent life-controlling problems.

Facing Fear, Finding Faith

Fear, worry, anxiety are hallmarks of the human experience, yet our loving father longs for us to be filled with peace. Facing Fear Finding Faith is a 10 week study designed to introduce participants to a biblical model for useful step-by-step process for moving beyond fear toward a trusting relationship with Jesus Christ.

Concerned Persons

This group is for people who want to better understand how they can help a friend or family member who is trapped by a life-controlling problem. This group is also designed to help those who are dealing with the consequences of a loved one’s past or present life-controlling problem.

Free to Grow

This group shows how our lives are shaped by our life experiences and the path for becoming free of hindrances or setbacks that affect spiritual development.
